7900 is a premium quality water based primer that has excellent rust inhibition as well as superior adhesion to most ferrous metal. It is also acceptable for use on non-ferrous metal and galvanized metal surfaces. It is low odor, low VOC and levels to a smooth finish ready to topcoat. This is an interior or exterior primer for clean or rusted metal. It can be used on structural steel, metal roofs, metal fences and railings, exposed beams, fire escapes, metal porch and garden furniture, tools, equipment or any metal surface and can be top-coated with Alkyd, Urethane, Epoxy, Acrylic and Lacquer, as well as Latex finishes. This primer will dry at lower temperatures than normal water-based primers.
